Daniel Dukes, Broker & Founder

Daniel Dukes founded Covenant Land Partners in the summer of 2026 to better serve his clients. With deep expertise in large-tract transactions, Daniel represents land sellers and buyers — including residential builders and industrial and residential developers — and brings firsthand perspective as a land developer himself. Formerly with National Land Realty, Daniel has successfully negotiated some of the most significant development land transactions in South Carolina and has been ranked among the top 25 land brokers nationally for four consecutive years.

A Charleston native, Daniel brings an unmatched knowledge of the Lowcountry's land, its communities, and the relationships that move deals forward. His background as a developer gives clients a distinct advantage — Daniel understands the entitlement and permitting process from the inside and has guided clients through zoning, approvals, and development timelines with local governments throughout the region.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Charleston and a Master's Degree from the University of South Carolina. He served as Senior Vice President for Governmental Affairs at the College of Charleston before founding a lobbying and consulting firm he operated successfully for 16 years. That career — built on relationships, negotiation, and navigating complex institutions — translates directly to his work in real estate.

Active in the community, Daniel serves as an Elder at East Cooper Baptist Church, as a member of the SC Commission on Higher Education, on the Education Foundation Board of Francis Marion University, and on the SC Advisory Board of Lifeline Children's Services. He has been inducted into the College of Charleston Athletic Hall of Fame, received the College of Charleston Distinguished Alumni Award, and holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Francis Marion University.

Daniel lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife Vicky. They are the proud parents of Jordan Gahafer and Jarrett Sechrist, and grandparents to Sawyer and Sullivan Sechrist.

Andrew Branton, Real Estate Professional

Andy Branton is a Lowcountry native who brings an uncommon mix of engineering training, land operations, and investment experience to Covenant Land Partners.

Andy grew up working in his family’s sawmill and logging business, which also invested in and managed timberland. He later took over the business, gaining hands-on experience in operations, land management, and long-term investment strategy before moving into real estate investing and brokerage.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a background that shapes his analytical approach to evaluating land and investment opportunities.

Andy’s experience spans recreational and timber land, industrial, multifamily, and residential property. He has worked with investors on 1031 exchanges and draws on his own investment experience to help clients build and reposition their portfolios. Having watched the region’s growth firsthand his entire life, he understands the history of the Lowcountry and where new development is heading.

Andy lives in Summerville with his wife and two children. When he’s not working, you’ll find him on the soccer field, at his kids’ games, or out on the water making the most of the boat and beach lifestyle that makes the Lowcountry such a special place to call home.
